macgem update error

Hi,

I was trying to update macgem and got the following error. Could you give me any suggestions? Thank you.

can't convert nil into Hash

RubyGems is currently unfortunately broken.

I'm closing this bug as a duplicate of #72. Thanks for the report anyway.
